Fire Investigations

The Belmont-San Carlos Fire Department has one fire investigator that is fully trained in determining origin and cause of fires occurring in the district. The fire crew on duty has the option to investigate small fires with minimal dollar loss or call for the on duty investigator. On all other fires the on duty investigator responds to the fire incident automatically.
